It is just astounding how loud the engine noise and chatter can be on a plane. With the Bose QC2 Noise-Canceling Headphones, I don’t even worry about screaming babies in the nearby seats. The over-ear Bose are comfortable for a long flight, with nothing pushing against the ear, and my lightweight iPod stuffs into a shirt pocket, avoiding wire tangles with the seatbelt or tray table. The QC2 also has pivots on both ear cuffs so you can swing one off to the side if you like to sleep on your side. They also hug the ear for a better grip through the tossing and turning of the night, and have better passive noise blocking than the newer “on ear” QC3.
