Photo Essay: The Magic Light of the Hudson River Vallley

The Hudson River Valley, just up the river from Manhattan has been drawing artists and photographers to it's banks for decades.

So few visitors to the city have any idea that an hour away by train is a place so green and splendid.

The farms, small towns and churning mountains that roll into the river place the Valley solidly in the firmament of America's natural wonders.

The photons bend and reflect and surround here, they coat all they bounce off with a layer of time-stopping light.

On a thunder-filled, misty day, that light can turn into something wonderful, in the truest sense of the word.
