Listening to Bolero de Ravel played with a saxophone while watching the sunset was a wonderful experience I had while traveling to northeast of Brazil.
The city of Cabedelo, near João Pessoa - Paraíba - Brazil, is famous for a show that happens everyday at the river beach Jacaré. The show is performed by Jurandy do Sax, who arrives by boat at a restaurant, playing “Bolero de Ravel” (Maurice Ravel) with his saxophone, exactly at the time the sun sets. Later, he performs Ave Maria (Fchubert).
He already performed more than 2,000 times and he’s been performing since 2002.
The show touched me deeply and made me cry. It’s just too beautiful for words.
