I just love to travel. Don't you?
At Ponta Negra Beach, in my last day of vacation of my last vacation...
There's been two years I don't see the sea!
1. Staying away from computers.
I work with IT and stay about 8-10 hours per day in front of computer screens. My eyes get really happy when I have the opportunity of traveling.
2. Getting out of the daily routine.
Waking up at a different hour, eating in different hours and different places, going to sleep later. Not having to clean the house or cook. You'll probably remember more your trips than the thousand days you did the same things.
3. Doing different things.
Once I went to a restaurant where the owner pet a giant blue crab. The crab had a name and knew how to serve drinks to clients. I've hold this crab, and, in other places: a monkey, a strange creature of the sea with thorns and I even touched a shark! I've riden in a dromedary, in roller coasters, jeeps and boats. When you work at an office you probably don't do that everyday.
4. Eating different food.
I've heard that in China they eat dogs and scorpions. Do I need to say more?
5. Meeting new people.
Observing their lives. Listening to their stories. Learning how to be a better person. And seeing that not everybody have an easy life.
6. Taking photographs.
Thousands and thousands. That is a joy!
7. Relaxing.
Nothing better than laying down in a beach or in a confortable couch. And after you do many different things, you'll probably forget what the word "trouble" means. Actually, you'll forget everything.
8. Having fun.
And living the good life.
9. Missing home after a long trip.
Of course you'll get homesick if it's a long trip. You'll miss your bed, your bathroom and even your computer.
10. Getting home and starting to wonder when will be the next trip.
Soon after you get home and hug everyone, since your mother to your dog, and start working or studying again, you'll long for your next vacation. That's a fact!
