Louisville's Sidewalk Derby
This horse sits in front of The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors building on Dutchmans Lane.
In 2004, 223 artfully decorated life-size fiberglass Gallopalooza horses were situated all over downtown Louisville, Kentucky. After Derby the horses were sold at a live public auction and online auction. People from all over the United States bought them, but you can still come and see the one's bought by Louisville store owners and sponsors around town. Approximately 50 of the initial sponsors purchased their horses outright. Fifty-one horses were sold in the Live Auction, and 119 were sold in the online auction. In all, the two auctions brought in $472,700. You can see all the horses and the prices they were purchased for on the Gallopalooza website:

Some are of the Pegasus origin, some have wheels or rockers, some have jockeys, but one things for sure they are all so very cool.
