Two Blue
Boating season opens up officially May 1st in the Pacific Northwest and all big and small boats hit the water in celebration.
These two kayaks are tied up to the public dock in Gig Harbor, WA - a gorgeous treasure of a maritime city. Perfect destination for a week-end away with many quaint shops and restaurants and local history in any direction.

Portland's Chinese Gardens
Located in old town, Portland is a gem ; the Chinese Gardens. In every season there is something new to discover as a visitor wanders through a maze iof hidden gardens. Even in rain, the gardens are enchanting and even more private and there are many covered and secluded places to sit and listen to the rain drop. A healing place in every corner.

Hotel Lucia Lobby
Located in the heart of Portland, Oregon Hotel Lucia is an art lovers dream of a boutique hotel. Filled with contemporary art and photography, the rooms are large and beautifully appointed. Walking distance to all of the best portland has to offer! My favorite place to stay and I've tried them all.

Mt. St. Helen's in Spring
Although the snow may be low, the road to Mt. St. Helen's is clear and well maintained and the drive is spectacular - well worth a closer look with fewer visitors in the off season.
