Helsinki as saw from the boat entering the harbour.
The White Cathedral and Uspenski Orthodox Cathedra (a remnant of Russia in Finland) are both visible.
Water and sky were so blue!
The Domkyrka (Cathedral) of Uppsala is the largest cathedral in all of Scandinavia. The twin-spired, rose-hued Gothic structure stands nearly 120 meters tall. Inside are the relics of St. Erik, several notable tombs, and a small museum of ecclesiastical treasures.
Uppsala Domkyrka is made of local brick, giving the structure a unique red color that brightens up the landscape in winter and glows with the sunset in summer.

The White Cathedral is one of the landmarks of Helsinki.
The cathedral was designed by the Tsar's favourite architect, Carl Ludwig Engel, and completed in 1852. The layout of St Nicholas Cathedral is a regular cross, much in the style of a Russian Orthodox Church, although it is a Lutheran church (93% of the Finnish population are Lutherans).
In this photo there is a visual of the church's Neoclassical details.
This is a copy of the 15th century statue which is inside the Cathedral of Stockholm, called Storkyrkan.
I don't always feel comfortable to take picture inside churches. I have preferred to shot the copy of the statue situated in the charming squares of the Old Town, Köpmantorget!
The original statue is carved from oak and elk horn. Many Stockholm residents believe this statue symbolizes Sweden's need to struggle against evil.
This is the building of the Municipal Council for the City of Stockholm in Sweden. Located on the island of Kungsholmen, the city hall was designed by architect Ragnar Östberg, and built between 1911 and 1923.
Consisting of eight million red bricks the building is centered on two large squares, an outer yard and an indoor hall.
The indoor hall is also known as the dining hall used for the banquet held after the annual Nobel Prize award ceremony.
Catching the last ray of light!
A view of Stockholm at sunset from the highest point I've found: the roos of a huge supermarket! I reached it on foot (the alternative was to take the elevator) using a starircase built near houses. A funny race to the top!

A special appointment takes place twice a year in the very north of Italy: it is called "transumanza". A long amazing way for herds!

I am a dreamer! I started to take pictures as a joke,it became a passion.
Taking pictures is a way to look at the world, a kind of "seeing in pictures"...I do this. My photos are often moved or unfocused and sometimes even silly: in each case they are my feelings. I am not a professional photographer at all, I just try to stop little pieces of life.
