When you think of going wine tasting, Michigan may not be the first place that comes to mind, but when you live in the Midwest who has time to go all the way to California. The vineyards and wineries in Northern Michigan near Traverse City make a wonderful option, especially in the fall. You will not find any snobbery or pretentiousness; what you will find are friendly humble people wearing flannel and beautiful scenery like this.

A beautiful Vineyard Bed and Breakfast. A great place to stay when wine tasting on Old Mission Peninsula. Taken in October 2007 while on part 2 of a wodnerful vacation. Part one was a cruise, this bed and breakfast was more our style.
