Arrowhead Stadium (Home of the Chiefs) during baseball season. The Kansas City Royals baseball team play just a football field away.. to the north (right). Two stadiums.. side by side. Built in the 70's, the original idea was to build a rolling roof that would move from one stadium to the other. It was never built and recently lost a vote in 2006 that would have put it into effect.
Kansas City is known for it's many fountains.. these are the most famous. Located in a beautiful park just east of "The Plaza". Kansas City's Plaza has many great restaurants, shops, amazing architecture and of course, fountains. Great for photographs. The beams of light you see are coming from a Church and I have been told that they claim this to be the tallest steeple in the world. All I can tell you for sure is that it is very beautiful.
The sun sets upon an old schoolhouse standing proud in the flint hills of Kansas.
