Mission Bay

Mission Bay

Flanked by park and walkways directly above the sand, Mission Bay is a popular spot to relax in the sun. Views across the Waitemata Harbour are stunning. In view here is the Volcanic cone, North Head on Auckland's North Shore. Several islands are also visible in the panorama.

Grab and icecream and wander the sands, sit on a park bench and enjoy a bit of people watching or go up market and dine in one of the many superb restaurants that line the main street here.

I'm from New Zealand. I have always loved images. JPG has quickly become a captivating place. I love your comments, votes and favourites.

My father gifted me photography. I was inspired by his own framed prints. He gave me my 1st camera aged 11. A Kodak 110mm. It frustrated me because it wouldn't capture what I saw. Every roll disappointed.

In1995 I took off with a Olympus 35mm. Now I experiment with a Fuji Finepix F10 6.3mg camera
