The Sunshine Laundry sign casting a shadow eastward across north classen avenue.
Not really sure if that is the correct architectural term for the long box that sits atop the steele roof trusses but it's pretty cool.
Built on the rooftop the three sided neon and box letter sign had lasted for decades. A true example of landmark signage.
October 25, 2007 the Flaming Lips Alley was made official. Wayne Coyne and Mayor Mick Cornett hanging out for the celebration.
The Alley sign on the busiest intersection of the now famous location.
The ballpark and Sonic headquarters are in the foreground. The canal snakes it's way in from the lower left up into the center of the picture. Downtown Oklahoma City is at the top of the frame.
The main street in foreground is Reno Avenue. Left edge of the frame is the ballpark. We have a canal that runs through the heart of bricktown.
