I'm not terribly sure that this will go by Everywhere's no edit standards, but I didn't photoshop this any besides just putting the pieces in order. This is the entire room from the bed's perspective in the White House Hotel in New York City.

This is the only view you'll get in the White House Hotel in New York City. Taken in the hallway looking out.

I believe there are 50 rooms to a floor, maybe more. Each room has a bed and the bathroom and showers are shared with the floor.
It reminds me a little of either a strict conservatory dorm or upscale prisoner cells... I realize both are basically the same thing.
While in New York, the first day was miserable with rain and just wet weather. But I stuck it out and walked down Chelsea Piers and just walked and walked and this wheel intrigued me. Just kind of stuck in there and must serve some kind of service though it was just still at the time. The between the storm clouds and wavy water at the Hudson River made this one of my favorite shots from my vacation. Across the Hudson River you have a nice view of New Jersey skyline.
The place was literally 7'x4', no ceiling (so you can hear everyone around you and the bathroom and the street), the doors have spaces between them so you can peek into other peoples rooms, and shared bathrooms and shower with the floor (a couple of the shower doors don't even close completely, you just close it to a 45 degree angle with the wall and put a small latch to lock it) But for $35 in a great area in New York City, what do you expect?
*set camera down... click... run run run run run.... handwalk handwalk handwalk.... run run run run run... grab camera before crowd of people come by and steal it* :-P
If you take a walk around Lake Kittamaqundi, there is an exercise path with various activities to do, included in it is a handwalk.
