Soap Bubbles at Stern Grove
Weekly free music festival at Sigmund Stern Recreational Grove (19th and Sloat). Big meadow in natural amphitheater, surrounded by eucalyptus, redwoods and more. Now in its 71st year, artists include San Francisco Symphony and Ballet and a wide range of musical styles and origins. Pre-concert activities include artist lectures for adults and Kidstage, crafts and play for kids of all ages.

Cafe du Soleil counter
Great little bistro/cafe at Fillmore and Waller. Pastries, quiche, sandwiches, soups, beer & wine, coffee & tea, good music and interesting clientele. Outside seating on pleasant quiet street.
