Malaga's Palacio Episcopal, or Bishop's Palace, opens its galleries around this central courtyard to the public for free; during Semana Santa, we enjoyed a thoroughly modern and abstract painter’s take on the scenes of the Passion.

Loosely translated as "One-Armed Woman," this term was affectionately given to Malaga's cathedral because just one of its two planned towers was completed. The second, abandoned for lack of funds, remains unfinished. The cathedral is a destination for the Semana Santa processions.
