Proportions are on a different scale in the Trump Hotel’s new gourmet restaurant, Sixteen. It’s been the buzz about town for its pricey and exotic dishes, its impeccable service and its unmatched views from windows that stretch all the way up to 30-foot ceilings. The centerpiece of the room is the 14-foot chandelier with 19,000 handcarved Swarovski crystals.

The new Trump International Hotel in Chicago has everything and the kitchen sink--right next to the SubZero refrigerator and under the French china.

The orchid theme begins even in the lobby. Difficult to manage but beautiful in the extreme, they are perhaps the perfect choice of flower for a Trump venture.

You may come here for the sushi and sashimi, the sake, or the extensive cocktail list. You may come for the swank interior. You may come to see and be seen. But know that the real scene-stealer is the view out the windows of Rebar. The glittering city and the boats along the river lead to a clear view of the lake beyond.
