Gedser Rev - Nyhavn
This magnificent boat was docked along the canal with the traditional Nyhavn buildings as the perfect backdrop. It looks good here but could you imagine being on the deck of this skinny vessle as it sails the stormy North Sea? Especially with a belly full of pickled herring!
Typical Nyhavn Morning.
Typical Nyhavn Morning, Copenhagen. It doesn't look cold... but it is!
Detail from Hadid Bldg. Ordrupgaard Museum.
This Zaha Hadid extension (2005) of the Ordrupgaard Museum is a work of art in itself. Add the world class exhibits that are shown here and that equals a must see location if you are anywhere in the area.
Ordrupgaard Museum. A world-class collection and magnificent space. Just 45 minutes north of Copenhagen Denmark. Definitely worth the trip!
It's November. It's Copenhagen. It gets dark at 4:00. This is one cold mermaid!
Got these vintage beauties recently while investigating the architecture of Morris Lapidus in Miami Beach. His buildings include the Fontainebleau (left), Eden Roc, (right) and Lucerne Hotel (center), now the Best Western Atlantic Beach Resort.

I am an artist and photojournalist just north of Tampa Bay in Florida, USA. My wife and I love to travel (13 countries so far). I'm into Modern art, Polaroids, history, skateboarding, reading, and fiddling with my iPhone but mostly I pretty much just take pictures all the time.
