This acrobatic dance troop were performing outside New York Library - the crowd were pretty skeptical at first but were soon won over when one fella strung together about 15 back flips to the soundtrack of Michael Jackson's Billy Jean!
The food in New York was fantastic and so varied - I don't think I'm over it yet. This particular place had enough pastries to rival the pâtisseries of France. I was attracted to the way the buildings are reflected in the window.
The market (Souk) off the main square - Djemaa el Fna - is the hardest place to barter ever! It's bursting with energy though, and every possible colour. You just have to work hard for your bargains...
It was over 40 decrees C and we were walking through a Moroccan national park - we were offered these peaches and were so grateful for the excuse to have a rest in the shade. you can see that no one has any energy for conversation, they're just focused on the peaches!
Of all the railway stations I've visited, i think Brighton is my favourite. Built in 1840, and renovated in 1999, I particularly love it when the sunlight shines through the large, double-spanned curved iron and glass roof... fantastic:)
This was early in the morning - we were up for the beautiful dawn having spent the night in the Eastern Moroccan desert. A return camel ride through the stunning landscape awaited us. Pretty much perfect!
Pen-y-Fan is one of the peaks in the Brecon Beacon National Park, Wales. It's in the midst of some stunning mountanous scenery. Unfortunately we didn't get much of a look at it on this occasion!
I understand now why the bridge is so popular - it's quite a sight, as is the view in every direction. It took us ages to get from one side to the other, and I didn't envy the cyclists who kept getting cut-up by us tourists!
You can see the window of the cab i was in - i couldn't get it to go all the way down! It adds to the hustle and bustle of the New York streets, that I hope this picture captures.
The scene caught my eye because it's so unpretentious, and like a pocket of calm amid the chaos of the city.
These boys appeared to be on their way home from school and were typically excitable - all talking at once!
The bold colours of the graffiti and shop fronts add to this energy, though I like how the boys aren't consciously paying any attention to their surroundings because they're all so engrossed in conversation!
