Two revelers don masks as they descend the steps of the Ponte die Rialto in Venice, home to one of the world's oldest Carnival celebrations. Venetian masks are a centuries-old tradition that have been banned at times throughout Italian history.

On the road right outside IrazĂș Volcano National Park in Costa Rica I spotted these cows in this misty scene. Unfortunately being it was so foggy I couldn't see the volcano, yet it showed other views of the park.
