Beautiful scenes like this are common and around most corners at Huang Shan.
Literally the Stairway to Heaven (at least its Capital Peak). This side trip, although arduous, really teaches one about fiiting into the world as a whole. One realizes how how important one is when they are this small scale or walking along a ridgeline that is as wide as their feet and a deadly precipice to either side.
The path leads steeply through this cleft with a rock suspended above. Upwards is the summit, squeeze through and complete the journey to where the sun shines.

I am out in the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma but I like to make records (photos) of what I see and do. The only thing you can be sure of in life is that I live and everything else is out there for me to experience / see. My photos are only what gets in the frame of my images but they remain for a viewer to reinterpret.
