The Clock: St Ann’s Fort Signal Tower

Story written 10 November 2007

Somewhere beneath the St. Ann’s Fort is a vaulted area housing some of the oldest cannons in the world. It collection boast one the two remaining Cromwell Republican arms canons (circa 1652) in existence. Over 400 cannons have been unearthed in Barbados

Series: SUNSETS, St. Peter

I will never tire of the simplicity in a Barbados sunset. It can soothe, reenergize, transport you to another place, and for a brief moment you can forget the world is madly going about its business.
