Darul Aman Palace

Darul Aman Palace was destroyed in the early
1990's as rival mujahideen factions fought for
control of Kabul. Plans are currently
underway to rebuild Darul Aman Palace for
use as the permanent seat of Afghanistan's
parliament.

Afghanistan is a beautiful country that has seen many of its orchards and forests destroyed by the ravages of war. The Marin, CA based “Bare Roots Tree” group provides trees for
the people of Afghanistan.

North Shore Lake Tahoe

This is a beach on North Shore Lake Tahoe. Wonderful rock formations and the beaches are not quite fine sand they are almost like aquarium gravel size pebbles.
