Cast Call
Casting into the surf at Island Beach State Park can be very rewarding, especially when a 32 inch striped bass hits your line at about 80 miles an hour. I once had one latch onto my 10 foot fishing rod while sitting in a sand spike. After completely bowing the rod, it pulled the rod out of the sand spike and started taking it out to sea. Fortunately I caught the line in time. However, this beauty was about half an inch too short to keep, so we sent it back.

St. Catharine's Church
St. Catharine's Church is a Roman Catholic Church that borders Divine Park in Spring Lake, New Jersey. Frescos adorne the walls inside the church that are currently undergoing renovations. The church was established in 1901.

Who's on Third sits on Third Avenue in Spring Lake, New Jersey. It is a local favorite, especially for breakfast and lunch. During the summer months, dinner is also served.

Red's Lobster Pot
Seafood lovers, once Memorial Day hits, it will be difficult to get seats in this twelve table restaurant. But the deck that sits on the Manasquan Rive allows visitors to sample lighter fare. Whatever is on the specials menu should catch your eye. It's usually something that just came off one of the local fishing boats some of which you can see behind the deck.
