Arghileh (aka Narghileh or Hookah) water jars with Beirut's Autostrade (seaside freeway) in the background); Arghileh are water pipes for smoking that operate by water-filtration and indirect heat. They can be used for smoking many substances, such as herbal fruits and tobacco.

The Hookahs pictured here were marked 30,000 LL (Lebanese Lira). Currently, 1,000 LL = approx. $0.75 USD, which makes the cost of one of these hookahs approx. $22.50 USD.
