The Old Sugar Mill
This old sugar mill is in the process of being refurbished into a wine tasting rooms for small, boutique wineries.
The Sacramento Delta appellation specializes in Chenin blancs and Petite Sirahs.
The plans for this building are to eventually house additional wine tasting rooms, a micro-brewery, a bistro and art galleries.

A longtime landmark in Placerville. Built into the side of a hill during the gold rush. An old gold mine is located in the Old Placerville Soda Works building next door.

Combellack-Blair House
made famous by Thomas Kinkade in his "Christmas Gathering" painting. Kinkade grew up in Placerville and many of his early paintings showed Placerville scenes.

Original Boeger Winery
This lovely old building was still in use as a tasting room until a few years ago when the new tasting room was built. This building has probably been around since the gold rush of the 1850's. Gold was discovered about 15 miles from here.
