We spent the 4th of July on the pier in Berkeley. As the fog rolled in it created an alien-like display of pulsing colors in the sky.
This staircase will take you straight up a cliff to the Coit Tower. It's quite a workout but the gardens of the people living on the hill are spectacular.
Look straight up at the Transamerica building.
A forest appears for a moment
On the north end of the bridge you can go down a really fun, curvy path to a dock by the water...And then you have to walk back up.
This photo was taken after biking over the bridge and back. At one point you go under the bridge near where it meets the ground. About 10 minutes after this photo was taken I had a notorious fall and ended up with a giant scraped and bruised face. It was fun.
Amsterdam at its finest
I went to an all Danish show here and I think the best part was walking around the building. That and listening to the Danes clap in unison.
