I had been travelling the southwest region for a few days when I met a fellow solo traveller/photo enthusiast named Marcin, on a tour of the Upper Antelope. The tour was so overcrowded that it was difficult to get shots w/o somebody walking in on our long exposures.

One of the most breathtaking views I've come across in Turkey was here in Goreme. The flat expanse enables you to see for miles, and the naturally formed cliff sides are unique beyond words.

When the present Trinity Church was consecrated on Ascension Day May 1, 1846, its soaring Neo-Gothic spire, surmounted by a gilded cross, dominated the skyline of lower Manhattan. Trinity was a welcoming beacon for ships sailing into New York Harbor.
