The Inn San Francisco

A step back into time, this proprietor of this inn makes sure you enjoy your stay from a wonderful breakfast to the nicely appointed rooms. Being from Texas I was concerned about there being no air conditioning, but I found that the climate in San Francisco doesn't require air conditioning.

This was my first view of the Parthenon after exiting the small entranceway. It was in seeing this that I knew I'd made a dream come true.

Xyloskalon (wooden stairway), into Samaria Gorge, Crete

As you're hiking the Samaria Gorge in Crete, it's best not to take your eyes off the path unless you stop. To try to hike and site see is seriously risking a twisted ankle, at the least.
