These are the Great Falls located in Pateson, NJ alot better picture than my first close up I put up here. This shows you the beautiful view from across the river in the Great Falls Park.
As I mentioned before the Great Falls are beautiful but the park is in need of repairs and these are the plans that are posted at the park to spruce the place up. I like what they are going to do with the place, I think it will look great.
Don't know the story of this bell but the engaving below declaired the Great Falls A National Historic Landmark in 1976.
This is located across the street from the Great Falls and it is from what I hear the place to go for information on the history of this area.
It happen to be closed the day I went.
I found this about two blocks from the Great Falls in Paterson. I like what I saw and took the shot, it is sad that it appears to have been forgotten and nobody has bothered to keep it up. I wonder which of the "We Are One" will ever fix this forgotten art?
This statue is to honor Hamilton, the Secretary of the Treasury in 1791, that through his influence and direction the City of Paterson was located. Hamilton recognized the power of the falls and it was planned to be used to power the factories that would later surround the falls.
Picture is an HDR photo of the statue, took as to see how it would look.
The three flags of El Morro, from Left to Right: Cross of Burgundy, Puerto Rico's Flag and the United States Flag.
Loved this perspective, two guard towers overlooking the cool blue waters below. For this being a military fort it sure had beautiful views as you can see.
Another one of those beautiful flowers located in El Yunque, you can see this one right at the visitor's center.
