In the old quarter of Safed, overlooking to a breathtaking Galilee mountain scape rest the famous dairy of Hame'iri Family. Their is no chance to skip it without taking a tour in and tasting the special cheeses if not buy some.

Beautiful young children were swiveling in a local playground in the old city of Safed. They had a break from their lesson in the nearby Cheder (class room). Boys are learning separately from the girls in orthodox centers.
The allies of old Safed at noon time are almost empty aside from two Chabad Jews who hurry to their study center.
Chabad (or Habad) is the 3rd or 4th largest Hasidic section of orthodox Judaism. Its initials mean Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge (Hebrew for Chochma, Binah, Da'at).
The old quarter of the city is inhibited mainly by orthodox Jews, traditional, none religious, and artists. You can sense the mystic in the air, among its stones.
My town, Nesher, is build on mount Carmel and the close plain at its foot. The new neighborhoods at left and one of the old ones - Giv'at Nesher (Nesher's hill) on the hill at right. Beyond you can see Haifa's industrial zone and even further.
Located on the southern-western edge of the old city, protected by heavy ancient walls and light the way for fishermen boats on their way back home at dark nights.
Haifa, on the shore of the Mediterranean is a famous port city, industrial and tourist pearl with a grat panorama from mount Carmel.
Bat Galim is a peaceful neighborhood resting on the foot of Mount Carmel west slopes on the Mediterranean shore. The place attracts elder people, fishermen, sportsmen and surfers.

A whale statue rests on the breakwater of the Acre marine. A hole in his belly gave me an interesting shooting angle towards the clock tower at Khan Al-Omdan.
