One of the most famous urban parks in the world, it houses restaurants, public activities areas, such as open stages for theatre and concerts, the great Vancouver Aquarium, an important marina, and of course, a thick forest.

The park is 400 square hectares (1000 acres). It has around 500,000 mostly coniferous trees and is surrounded by it's famous 8.8 km (5.5 miles) Seawall.
This park is visited yearly by about 8 million people from around the world.
This outdoor show from a local artist was presented at the grounds of the Vancouver International Children's Festival which happens every year in May, at Vanier Park, in Vancouver, BC. He had his mostly young audience in awe for quite a while, between thrilling juggles and surprising comedy.
The festival provides the finest quality international performing arts for youngsters, encouraging critical thinking and a life long interest in learning, ideas, and cultural explorations.
