Taken from a plane over Zion National Park in Utah, USA. The earth looked so beautiful from above. I wonder how many years it took for the earth to carve out this scene. It was awe inspiring to photograph from this angle!
When you travel to New Orleans, you can almost expect to see the street performers dancing, singing, performing Ave Maria with only their moistened finger on some wine glasses. You get the picture. This sneaker clad youngster more than likely has bottlecaps embedded into the bottom of his shoes so that he can tap and clap! But beware, if they see you take their picture you can expect to throw a dollar into that box you see beside him. It's worth it. The local artists that you see on the street are what make New orleans so wonderful!
Only one of New Orleans most recognized culinary institutions. Located on the corner of Tchoupitoulas (chop-it-too-lis), should you have a craving for a Po' boy or some jambalaya, this would be your first recommended stop. it's been around forever and is part of the essence of the Creole tradition in New Orleans.
Nothing says first class than an offering of Peanut Butter an Jelly Sandwiches and milk in the lobby at 10:00 p.m. I'm so there.... It's the small little luxuries like this that make a weary traveler smile. Taken at La Pavillion Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana USA and the hotel really is old school and first class.
Taken in Pensacola, Florida USA. This was her first beach vacation. I love the fact that she still asks to go back every other day. By the way, can you find your state?
I absolutely cannot go to the beach without stuffing every pocket I have with seashells, even if their broken. These were captured on an old sheet in Pensacola, Florida USA.
Lake Tahoe, California. To truly understand the scope of this picture, you would have to see it in a larger format. It really looks like a watercolor portrait. It was breathtaking and is one of my most favorite memories from that trip.
MMMMMMM.... A quick bite to eat and a lovely wine with friends after a day of skiing and shopping. Photo was taken at Wolfgang Puck Express in the Heavenly Resort area of Lake Tahoe, California. For some reason I felt compelled enough to snap a picture before I began my meal. The butternut squash soup was excellent by the way....
The mountains of Lake Tahoe, California just beyond my hotel room window. The cloud cover was just clearing off early in the morning when I snapped this pic.

I love to travel when I can. I sleep with a map of the world on my bedside table. I read lots of travel books just in case I ever get to go, so I guess you could consider me an armchair traveler. I'm also an avid novice photographer. I want to capture the world as much as I can. I also consider "traveling" as something I can do within the city that I live. Even if I've been there a hundred times before, there is always something new that I haven't noticed before.
