The infamous city lights book store
On an illfated trip the lake district during the wetest summer ever! we managed to escape the waterlogged campsite and eventually ended up in sunny Goole!
I took this photo in a very hurried, passing moment. I though the scene looked quite exotic, rather than something I would normally find in my back yard - a group of men gathering in a cafe for coffee and a chat on a Saturday afternoon.
As a travelling student I couldn't afford to eat here, but I was amazed by the lines and patterns created by the mirrored surfaces covering this 1950's style diner. (Taken August 2001)
Ranging from teeny tiny to almost life size - camels to suit all sorts in Port El Kantaoui. I don't know how you'd pack some of them in your cases!
