Saint Isaac's Cathedral
St. Isaac's Cathedral is one of several large and gorgeous cathedrals that dominate Nevsky Prospekt in St.
Novodevichy Monastery
The Novodevichy Monastery was founded in 1524. Novodevichy translates as "new maiden", and over the centuries, this monastery was home to numerous royal women - many of whom were sequestered there against their wills.
The Other Highway 1
Everybody who comes to San Francisco and has gone to Carmel has driven Highway 1, and has noted how beautiful the drive is. hogwash, I say!
