Horshoe Bend Military park is the site of the battle between the Creek and Redstick Indians. It is hard to believe that this now peaceful sanctuary was once so bloody a battlefield

Morning Mist
One of the many boat landings on Lake Martin, surrounded by an early December morning mist. This place used to be nothing but overgrown weeds and sawgrass. Now it boasts beautiful homes, clean parking areas and plenty of recreational fun. And in the early mornings, moments of peace and serenity.
