How often do we take a few minutes to really look at the night sky?
Venus shines brightly in the early evening sky. (Upper left of this photo). Look low in the southwest just after dark.
Dusk light illuminates clouds floating through the evening sky.
Sunset from Perry, Utah.
Colors change by the minute.
Last weeks storm left a snow cap on Wellsville Peak, a pretty vista, but also a reminder that winter is not far off.
The Fire Hole River is one of my favorite parts of Yellowstone Park. The Fire Hole Falls can be viewed from the narrow one-way road on the Fire Hole scenic by-way.

I am Darwin D. Dirks, 57, retired. I enjoy high performance cars, travel in the Western United States, and the company of my wife of 38 years, Jackie. My dream for my retirement years is to travel the intermountain west, and to photograph and write about some of the interresting and unique places I find. I hope this format "Everywhere Magazine", may be a way to share my experiances with more people.
