Abandoned house
Abandoned houses are a frequent sight on the Croatian Islands. People have been emigrating from the islands for over a century now and population has severely decreased.
However, these abandoned homes are often purchased by foreigners and renovated into beautiful holiday villas.

Fall in Cannon Beach
Haystack Rock, at 235 feet high, is the third largest coastal monolith in the world. Haystack Rock is protected as part of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge as well as a designated National Wilderness Area. This 235 foot tall basalt monolith is located on the scenic Cannon Beach on the northern Oregon coast. The area below the rock is referred to as a Marine Garden. The boundaries of this area are between the extreme high tide line and extreme low tide line within a 300 yard radius from the base of Haystack Rock.

A typical roadside truck stop near I-90 adjacent to the Little Bighorn Battlefield site.
Of course.. during our long roadtrip, we had to load up on pop and beef jerky!

Wall Drug Store
Drive a couple of thousand miles to Wall, South Dakota and enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the diner... or buy some funky western trinkets in the store.
There's really little to do for miles and miles around... so you might as well stop and check out the place.
