Sunrise Over Port Phillip Bay - Melbourne Australia
Port Phillip Bay is a big body of water leading to the harbor of Melbourne proper. This is one of a series of photos that captures the sunrise that broke over Port Phillip Bay on Christmas Eve, 2007.

Melbourne mixes it's old and new architecture well. It's a vibrant place filled with friendly people - it's one of my favorite cities of the world.

Window on the Southern Ocean
This view of the storm-tossed Southern Ocean was captured on January 2, 2008. Believe it or not, the waves actually covered this window many, many, many times.......

Magnificent Iceberg - The Wide Shot
This "Magnificent Iceberg" made me think about global warming in many different and scary ways...
We were between 100 to 200 yards away from this berg when this shot was taken, and we got closer... right up to it - probably about 30 yards for the close-up. It was about 5-stories tall and I can still hear the "woosh-crash" sound of the waves as they broke in the cavity between the berg-bits.
So where exactly was this? It was in the Southern Ocean, just north the western sector of the Australian Antarctic Territory. 110-degrees E longitude, 60-degrees west latitude. (That's a rough estimate there cause I was looking at the berg and not a map at the time!)

Big Cake Iceberg
Like I said...there are so MANY awe inspiring icebergs in the Southern Ocean....this is just one more......the size was enormous......

Magnificent Iceberg - Closer
This is the second shot of the "Magnificent Iceberg." Like clock-work, waves crashed into the space between the berg bits, molding and shaping the ice like a stone sculpture.
We stayed by this berg for almost an hour....I don't think I ever looked away.....

Capitol West w/Fountain & Sun
I try to see things in unique ways. The U.S. Capitol is a beautiful building - and a symbol of power - I thought the low angle view would communicate that...

Taj Mahal from outside
This is a stunning building - from any angle.
Eric Feldman's picture is a masterpiece - it captures the "atmosphere" that made this building seem like a mirage to me.
This is a must see location, especially at dusk with the setting sun.

I am...like you - I love photography. I've been taking pictures for almost 28 years now. The bulk of those pictures have been motion pictures because I work in the film and television industry. Along the way I’ve had a few steady companions – a trusty Olympus OM-1, then a Nikon F-100 that's now teamed with a D-200. The pictures you’ll see here were captured with those three cameras during moments of down time during my “regular work.”
