Summer Sunrise
Looking east from Marine Drive at 5:00 am in the month of August. This is a nice road for a Sunday drive from Marysville to Stanwood WA. A great County Park is just about five miles farther north called Kayak Point.

Moonset over Quilceda Creek
This is an early morning moon setting over the Quilceda Creek. THis only happens once a year that I noticed. I waited a full year to get this shot. I enhanced the moon on CS3, it is not that large unless shot with wide angle and telephoto. The scene and mood are correct.

Beauty can often be found in our own back yards when the mother nature provides the lighting and we are patient with her.
