The words "punk rock bakery" aren't usually strung together, but that's what Bleeding Heart Organic Bakery is. Started by Valentin and Michelle Garcia in 2003 through a shared love of baking and punk rock, Bleeding Heart is easy to find near the corner of Belmont and Damen Avenues.

You can find Wall Monuments all over the city of Berlin. The most popular and largest Wall Monument (1316 m long) is the East-Side-Gallery in the Mühlenstraße between the Ostbahnhof and the Oberbaumbrücke along the river Spree.

Miami may be the Capital of Latin America, but it's not hard to find remnants of its beginnings in the American South. The best of these may be Shorty's BBQ, opened in the 1950s by an enterprising Georgia native looking for his own piece of the Florida promised land.

Located in San Francisco's increasingly trendy Hayes Valley neighborhood, True Sake has laid claim to being "the first dedicated sake store outside of Japan, and also the first sake store in America." By that they mean that it's the first store to specialize in selling only Japanese-style sake, and nothing else. And what a treat!
