A view of the North Arm of Great Slave Lake as taken from the pristine little park known as North Arm Territorial Park. This little of piece of paradise was a pleasant surprise for us as we drove along Highway 3 past Edzo and Rae.

We encountered this massive creature just outside the town of Edzo, Northwest Territories. It's a northern Bison and they just find a piece of wet earth, dig it up a little, and plunk themselves down to cool off for the afternoon! Quite an amazing sight to drive alongside this animal while it's grazing.
