The Arboretum is a 127- acre botanical garden and historical site jointly operated by the Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation and the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation.
Lewis Creek, is a small trail, that is outside of Fish Camp, near Yosemite National Park, California. It's filled w/wildlife, water filled creek (when its Late Winter or Early Spring), tall pine trees, and possible-- Red Woods; and its a nice trail to take a stroll around to appreciate nature.
Located in San Francisco's increasingly trendy Hayes Valley neighborhood, True Sake has laid claim to being "the first dedicated sake store outside of Japan, and also the first sake store in America." By that they mean that it's the first store to specialize in selling only Japanese-style sake, and nothing else. And what a treat!
The longest man-made structure that is visible by space sits across the northern mountain range in China. Built and rebuilt during the 5th century BC through the 16th century, the wall protected a united China from the barbarians in the north.
El Dorado Park, and El Dorado Park Nature Center is a place where family can go picnicking, or a couple, or just friends who wants to gather and meet up, to set a stroll around in the park or the Nature Center (wild life sanctuary).
It has various species in the Nature Center, ranging from Great Egrets, Coyotes, Owls, Rabbits, Squirrels, to Monarch Butterflies if seeing them in the right season.
I come here few times a year when I feel down. The perfect moment is during sunset and you are given these beautiful colors, view of midtown and the reflection from the water.
Come to the Griffith Observatory at night fall and see the City of LA light up like a movie star.
