Golden Temple
Construction on the Golden Temple, or Harmandir Sahib, began in 1588 by the fourth Guru of Sikhism. It's surrounded by the Sarovar, a holy lake consisting of "Amrit" or Immortal Nectar, which is considered beneficial to swim in.
