Many miles from the nearest road, we met this woman from the Red Dao tribe. She was carrying building supplies gathered from the forest.
We took a break from the ruins of Angkor Wat and went out the see the "Floating Village". The village is basically a Vietnamese refugee camp on the shores of Tonlé Sap Lake, a huge fresh water lake connected to the Mekong River. This little girl shocked us as she came up to our boat begging for our bananas.
During a long taxi ride to the Hanoi Airport, we left with some final impressions of our stay in North Vietnam.
