Italian Hair Salon in Florence. I just caught this out of the corner of my eye as I walked past and had to take the picture.

The walk through the museums in the Vatican leading up the Sistine Chapel are probably the most overlooked area in the place, but they are full of great finds.
Where the Ancient city meets modern transportation, back lit by the light of time....corny I know, but it was a beautiful sunset at the Parthenon and was quite strange to leave the dominion of Julius Caesar and be confronted by a stream of traffic.

This was taken on a trip to Rome. I went on a tour of the coliseum, amazingly informative and interesting! As the guide was talking I was struck by the beautiful view that we had looking out of one of the arches.

I am a traveler. I have been on the go since I was a young child. I have spent much of my life in one place or another. I lived in the same house from birth till 18, my parents still live there, it almost burnt down. I have set foot on many countries, but not many at one time. I read "on the road" when I was a junior in college, and have forever since been bit by that mischievous little bug that poisons you, so that you are never satisfied with where you are at, and always miss where...
