OBEY
This is not a great picture, but I think that it captures a lot of what makes LA so great. Walking down sunset I look down an alley, and see Shepard Fairy, the creator of OBEY, doing what he does best. Putting up his great street art, one of the things that adds to the beauty of this city.

South of the 10
Los Angeles is divided in many neighborhoods, and often by freeways and major roads. South of the 10 is often an area left alone, and can be scary.

It happens...
LA is full of "industry" people and to happen upon a photo shoot or movie filming is not all that unlikely. This is just off of sunset, the guy was taking pictures for a Dutch travel magazine

LA
This was one of the clearest days I have ever seen in LA. There was no smog at all, it was beautiful. We were up around the observatory, and I took this shot. I wish I would have had a wide angle, the view was stunning.

wind
this is just on a random street in downtown. I saw these colored balloons blowing in the wind, and it struck me. It is not a great representation of LA, cause it could be anywhere, but this is in downtown.

On Melrose
This is a Banksy piece, right there on Melrose Ave. in LA. His work is amazing and he always finds great places to make it.

I am a traveler. I have been on the go since I was a young child. I have spent much of my life in one place or another. I lived in the same house from birth till 18, my parents still live there, it almost burnt down. I have set foot on many countries, but not many at one time. I read "on the road" when I was a junior in college, and have forever since been bit by that mischievous little bug that poisons you, so that you are never satisfied with where you are at, and always miss where...
