  i am... happy! about 3 years ago i said to myself, "i'm gonna be a professional photographer!", bought an entry-level sony and went to it. and, after 3 years, i'm starting to take some solid pics! the majority of what i do is live music related, there's just something awesome about being around live music. i was a musician, now i play the role of photographer. one thing that i love about photography is that there's SO MUCH to learn! one could spend a lifetime doing it...

  I was born in 1977 in a remote village in the northeast of Portugal. In 1998 moved to Lisbon to study Journalism in the university, where did took the first steps into photography. In the past few years, I have photographed places and people of Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and North Africa. Currently I live and work as a freelance photojournalist in the Republic of Ireland.
