Apparently not only a good place to store grain, when under attack, the people of San G would retreat to the towers and pour boiling oil from the towers onto the attackers. Nice.
Only one the towers is able to be climbed (2007). A very scenic, if touristy, town of Tuscany.
A summer storm rolling in over Positano, not the best tourist weather but certainly a dramatic backdrop to an already dramatic town.
