Home for a Family of Eight in Kenya

Home for a Family of Eight in Kenya

Simple home of a World Vision family (2 parents, 6 children) we visited for several hours. It appears to be made of dung, but even dung can be embellished with custom paint. Because their home was so small, we gathered in their yard, sitting on knarled exposed tree roots and split logs.

Peering in, all I could see were a kerosene lantern and a bucket on the floor. The roof is corrugated metal and here and on the inside you can see a great amount of space between the roof and walls, meaning the room is exposed to the elements.

In 2006 I went to Rome, Italy; Ethiopia and Kenya, but my obsession became exaggerated not sate
