Vietnam Memorial

The Vietnam Memorial is a tribute to the American Soldiers who lost their lives in the Vietnam War. This sunken black granite monument was not well recieved when it was originally proposed as many people felt that it would be a dark hole in the capitol mall and would not honor the dead.

Pantheon

The Pantheon (Latin Pantheon, from Greek Πάνθεον Pantheon, meaning "Temple of all the gods") is a building in Rome which was originally built as a temple to the seven deities of the seven planets in the state religion of Ancient Rome. It is the best preserved of all Roman buildings, and perhaps the best preserved building of its age in the world.
