Flamboyant architecture and a unique take on urinals make this hotel worth pulling over for!
The restrooms at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, Ca are unlike any you have seen. The waterfall urinal in the downstairs men's room is a Central California tourist attraction.
The interior of the Madonna Inn is a color explosion. What it lacks in taste, it makes up for in character. Here, a golden fern-embellished staircase looks down on pink leather dinner booths.
A pink version of a Swiss castle? The Madonna Inn sits on Highway 101 between San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach.
Monterey California was the major port on the Pacific Ocean when the Fisherman's Wharf was built in 1846. It is still a fully-functioning pier, however it is also now home to world-famous dining and whale watching trips.
